Overview

Design and manufacturing involves creative problem solving techniques being applied to various manufacturing processes to produce any specific components required to build a product or a functional system at any scale. Any physical component would benefit from a good design and broad knowledge of manufacturing processes in order to achieve high demand while keeping the production cost low without compromising on the quality of the product. This minor provides the foundation for future engineers to create new products, technologies and automation techniques catering to the demands of the fast-paced world.

Availability
The Design and manufacturing minor is only available for students enrolled in the single degree Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (E3001) at Malaysia, except those completing the Software engineering specialisation.
