Overview
Micro and nano technologies form the basis of any modern miniaturised system including for instance electronic devices containing computer chips, sensors and actuators, diagnostic systems, biomedical devices and devices for environmental monitoring. This minor equips engineers with the knowledge of the properties and applications of nanomaterials and the fabrication techniques required to engineer these materials.
Availability
The Micro and nano technologies minor is available only to students enrolled in the single degree Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), except those completing the Biomedical engineering specialisation or the Software engineering specialisation.
