Overview
This program provides PhD students with the opportunity to focus on developing knowledge and expertise in their chosen discipline at the School of Business Malaysia. This program is also applicable to students studying externally.
Each student’s research will be supported by the development of a range of skills that will help them to become more efficient researchers, ultimately improving the quality of the research and developing generic/transferable skills of value to prospective employers.
Notes
Students are required to complete and pass one coursework unit, the assessment of which is conducted in accordance with the University’s Assessment in Coursework Units policy and supporting procedures. It is recommended that the unit be completed prior to confirmation. Students would normally complete one of the following coursework units:
- BEX6100 Advanced quantitative research methods
- BEX6200 Advanced qualitative research methods
Students may also be direct or encouraged to attend and make presentations at various forums throughout their enrolment.
