In this specialisation you will develop your knowledge of Physics through advanced coursework; you will also have the option to undertake elective coursework in other subject areas relevant to career development in Physics.

Studies will be chosen from a variety of topics including: Quantum mechanics (compulsory), Classical electrodynamics & field theory, Advanced quantum mechanics, Condensed matter physics, Nanophotonics & meta-optics, Statistical mechanics, Statistical field theory, critical phenomena & the renormalisation group, Quantum field theory, Advanced quantum field theory, Quantum computing & information theory, Quantum fluids & many body theory, Data analysis,  Machine learning, General relativity & cosmology, Advanced general relativity, X-ray optics & synchrotron science and Special topics in contemporary physics.
