Overview

Smart manufacturing is the core of Industry 4.0. which includes cyber-physical systems, internet of things, and augmented reality. This minor equips engineers with the knowledge of modern systems of telecommunication, mechatronics, cyber-physics, and manufacturing for the new era of industry.

Availability
The Smart manufacturing minor is available only to students enrolled in the single degree E3001 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), except those completing the Biomedical engineering specialisation, the Robotics and mechatronics specialisation (Automation stream) or the Software engineering specialisation.
