The Graduate Certificate of Business Management is an integrated and practical introduction to the practice of business management in a contemporary, dynamic and digital context. The Graduate Certificate will provide you with the critical knowledge and skills in the key business management areas of leadership, strategic management, innovation and financial management. You will also learn how management, business and organisations can thrive in the context of digital disruption and accelerating technological change.
The Graduate Certificate of Business Management is designed to enable you to efficiently learn and develop core business knowledge and the skills to manage in a contemporary business context, which is often distinguished by fast-paced change, ongoing uncertainty, the pressures of digital transformation and the need to be agile.

This course comprises four units where you will be introduced to studies in business management at an advanced graduate level. The units are intended for students whose previous qualification is not in a cognate field.

Monash minimum: Level A, that is: IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall (no band lower than 6.0); or Pearson Test of English (Academic): score of 58 overall with no band lower than 50; or TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 79 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 21, Listening: 12, Reading: 13 and Speaking: 18; or Equivalent approved English test

If you successfully complete the Graduate Certificate of Business Management with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60, you may be eligible for admission at entry point 2 into the Master of Business Management.
