Overview

Are you seeking to advance your ability to address the global issues and challenges faced by business and society?

This double master's degree will prepare you to navigate the complexities of the business world, and to creatively design innovative solutions for implementation within and beyond the business context. Throughout the degree, you'll explore the global context in which business operates and how it deals with issues of geopolitics, security, business-government relations, trade governance, global supply chains, sustainability, social responsibility, community impacts, and cross-cultural communication.

You will develop the ability to draw on multidisciplinary theories, tools and practices to respond to the unique and challenging operating environments faced by global businesses and be empowered to help organisations navigate transformative changes currently underway in our global economy, societies and environment.

You'll emerge as an effective leader, able to adopt and initiate cutting-edge practices that benefit businesses, society and the environment in a variety of worldwide contexts.

You must complete 48 credit points, including all of the requirements in Part A and Part B, for the Master of Global Business.

Master of Global Business

The Master of Global Business is structured in three parts. Part A. Core studies, Part B. Capstone studies and Part C. Elective studies. In this double degree course you complete: 

Part A. Core studies

The focus of these studies is to develop your knowledge and skills as a critical and creative professional who can apply their understanding and knowledge of the global business and politics environments in order to contribute to solutions that address contemporary global issues

Part B. Capstone studies

These studies are designed to consolidate the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the study of your course.

Master of Behaviour and Systemic Change

The Master of Behaviour and Systemic Change is structured in two parts. Part A. Core studies and Part B. Discipline studies. In this double degree course you complete: 

Part A. Core studies 

These units establish the core concepts, skills, theories and methodologies required to research and practise behavioural and systemic change in complex contexts. Together they provide a comprehensive toolkit to develop and apply a solution-focus to any sustainable development or societal challenge. Core studies include BAS5555, a unit containing a substantial professional/research project component.

Monash Level A that is:  IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall (no band lower than 6.0); or Pearson Test of English (Academic): score of 58 overall with no band lower than 50; or TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 79 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 21, Listening: 12, Reading: 13 and Speaking: 18; or Equivalent approved English test
