You must complete 48 credit points, including all of the requirements in Part A and Part B from the Master of Marketing and Digital Communications.

Note: If you are undertaking the double degree with Master of Global Business, you cannot undertake the Research pathway in the Master of Marketing and Digital Communications.

Master of Global Business

The Master of Global Business is structured in three parts. Part A. Core studies, Part B. Capstone studies and Part C. Elective studies. In the double degree course you complete: 

Part A. Core studies

The focus of these studies is to develop your knowledge and skills as a critical and creative professional who can apply their understanding and knowledge of the global business and politics environments in order to contribute to solutions that address contemporary global issues

Part B. Capstone studies

These studies are designed to consolidate the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the study of your course.

Master of Marketing and Digital Communications

The Master of Marketing and Digital Communications is structured into three parts: Part A. Core studies, Part B. Applied studies and Part C. Discipline elective studies. In the double degree course you complete: 

Part A. Core studies

These studies draw on best practices within the broad realm of communications and marketing practice and research to further your understanding of communications and marketing systems both locally and globally. These studies engage with theoretical and industry based perspectives to provide an understanding of how organisations can connect and engage with their different stakeholders to achieve specific communication and marketing objectives. Studies focus on the opportunities and challenges posed by the emergence of digital media, globalisation and increasing levels of cross-cultural exchange. The impact of technological change on marketing and communication behaviour will also be critically analysed.

Part B. Applied studies

The focus of these studies is professional and project work, focused locally or globally, that can contribute to a portfolio of professional development. In this part of the program you can also undertake higher level research.

You must complete 96 points, of which 48 points are from the Master of Global Business (including all the requirements in Part A and B for the single degree) and 48 points from the Master of Marketing and Digital Communications (including all of the requirements in Part A and Part B for the single degree). 

Note: Students undertaking the double degree with Master of Global Business cannot undertake the Research pathway in the Master of Marketing and Digital Communications.

Notes for students

Marketing and Digital Communications studies must be completed at the Indonesian campus prior to travelling to Australia to complete the Master of Global Business at the Caulfield campus. Travel to Australia to undertake your Master of Global Business is only permitted where you are in good-standing with no encumbrances. 
 
You may opt to complete both components of this double degree in Indonesia.
