These units provide coverage of theory, models and contemporary practice across the key business functions of contemporary organisations. They are designed to provide foundational knowledge of each subject area and extend the knowledge to contemporary practices that emphasise digitalisation, the strategic use of data, virtual teamwork, design thinking, and agile project methods.
The course comprises 12 credit points.
Units are 6 credit points unless otherwise stated.
You must complete two units (12 credit points) from the following:
- MBO5001 Marketing
- MBO5002 Managerial accounting
- MBO5003 Operations and logistics
- MBO5004 Financial management
- MBO5005 People and culture
- MBO5006 Governance, continuity and crisis management

Monash Level A, that is: IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall (no band lower than 6.0); or Pearson Test of English (Academic): score of 58 overall with no band lower than 50; or TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 79 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 21, Listening: 12, Reading: 13 and Speaking: 18; or Equivalent approved English test

Successful completion of this course may provide a pathway to the Graduate Certificate of Business Administration (Digital) (B4009) subject to satisfying the appropriate entry requirements. Credit may be granted towards other Faculty of Business and Economics postgraduate courses upon successful completion.
