The Professional Certificate of Marketing provides you with foundation skills, knowledge and capabilities relevant to career pathways in a wide range of strategic marketing related fields. This industry focused degree is designed for those seeking cutting edge theoretical knowledge and problem solving skills in marketing. It is designed to develop core competencies in critical areas of strategic and crisis communications, as well as data analytics and social media marketing which can be applied to the government, corporate, not-for-profit and community sectors. The course comprises 12 credit points of study, where you will be introduced at a graduate level, to knowledge, skills, attitudes and values required of skilled practitioners working in a range of fields addressing marketing.
Units are 6 credit points unless otherwise stated.
You must complete 12 credit points from the following:
- MKO5916 Marketing principles in a digital world
- MKO5601 Social media marketing
- MKO5926 Integrated marketing communications
- MKO5881 Digital marketing
Learning outcomes

English language
Monash Level A, that is: IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall (no band lower than 6.0); or Pearson Test of English (Academic): score of 58 overall with no band lower than 50; or TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 79 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 21, Listening: 12, Reading: 13 and Speaking: 18; or Equivalent approved English test

Progression to further studies
Successful completion of this course may provide a pathway to the Graduate Certificate of Marketing and Digital Communications (A4014) subject to satisfying the appropriate entry requirements. Credit may be granted towards other Faculty of Arts postgraduate courses upon successful completion.
