Part A Coursework studies24 credit points
You must complete the following unit (6 credit points) and 18 credit points of elective units from Level 4 or Level 5 units approved by the faculty honours coordinator.

You may be permitted to do one elective unit (6 credit points), added in this version points in selected topics (you will enrol in FIT4008 Reading unit), with permission from the thesis supervisor and honours coordinator.

A maximum of one (6 credit point) Level 3 FIT unit or a unit offered by another faculty can be selected with the approval of the honours coordinator. Suitable units can be identified using the browse units tool in the Handbook.
Part B. Research studies24 credit points
The handbook's description of this structure

This course consists of a combination of coursework and research. In the coursework component you will develop advanced theoretical and/or technical knowledge of information technology and research methodologies appropriate to your topic. In the research component you will plan and execute a research project under the individual guidance of an academic supervisor.

This course comprises 48 credit points: Part A. Coursework (24 credit points) and Part B. Research (24 credit points)

Units are 6 credit points unless otherwise indicated.

Part A. Coursework studies (24 credit points)

You must complete the following unit (6 credit points) and 18 credit points of elective units from Level 4 or Level 5 units approved by the faculty honours coordinator.
