Overview
The Master of Global Medicines Development is a joint degree offered by Monash University and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This program provides you with a comprehensive understanding of how the discovery, development, and distribution of new medicines unfold on a global scale. In the units, taught collaboratively by academics across the two institutions, you will confront pressing issues such as funding medicines development in developing countries, navigating global drug regulations, and addressing disparities in access to appropriate medicines. By engaging with academics and your peers from around the world, you will develop leadership, data and financial management skills, and the cross-cultural understanding needed to work effectively in diverse teams. Through interdisciplinary coursework, team-based projects and a final semester placement opportunity, you will develop the expertise required to tackle pressing global challenges in the development of new medicines.
