Overview

The Diploma of Information Technology (IT) is the first step towards gaining your Monash IT-related degree. Information technology and computer science are central to every industry – creating more efficient ways to work, developing engaging ways to reach customers, and establishing powerful ways to communicate. By studying this pathway, you’ll have the skills you need to succeed in the fast-changing world of technology. 

In the first year, you’ll learn about the maths and science theory and practical skills you’ll need for University.

In the second year, you’ll study subjects equivalent to first-year Monash University students and develop your specialist knowledge of Information Technology or Computer Science.
