Overview
This capstone unit integrates prior learning gained throughout the Bachelor of Accounting course and prepares you for transition to a professional career and for undertaking postgraduate studies. You will be required to analyse, synthesize, critically evaluate, and apply knowledge and skills acquired over the course of your studies to real-world scenarios. You will also be required to reflect on the role of accounting in organizations and society more generally, and will develop professional judgement, as well as the key skills that are expected of accountants.

Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study. You are expected to complete all pre-class activities prior to your scheduled class, and post-class activities should be completed after your scheduled class. Learning activities may include a combination of teacher directed, peer directed and online engagement activities.
