Overview
This unit is the first part of a major art history, theory or curating research project. It provides an opportunity to research art and curatorial practice in your chosen area. The curatorial project for curatorial students, or the 15,000-word thesis for art history students, will be developed under supervision over the course of the year. You will meet regularly with your mentors while undertaking independent research and your work will be discussed and debated in group settings and weekly crit sessions. This unit is followed by AHT4112 Major project, under which the project and research must be completed.
