In this unit, students will explore a specific transnational social issue through geographically anchored perspectives. Students will engage with interest groups, activists and experts in two countries.

In groups, students will workshop individually crafted proposals for broaching some manageable portion of the larger issue. Each group will decide on a single plan and develop clear indicators for monitoring and evaluating the plan’s success. Groups will then present these plans to a panel made up of international stakeholders.

The specific topics explored and locations visited will vary periodically.
