International relations field unit: Governing peace and security

This intensive, two-week unit takes place in a prominent city important to international peace and security, such as Brussels, Tokyo, Vienna, London, or Washington DC. You will experience the diverse array of perspectives on the global governance of peace and security, visiting a range of institutions, which may include prominent think tanks, non-governmental organisations, embassies, defence institutes, and government agencies. You will engage with internationally known experts on a variety of peace and security topics, which may include nuclear politics, trade wars, environmental security, humanitarian intervention, terrorism and more. The goal of the unit is to enable you to confront, digest and critique the many viewpoints on peace and security issues essential to global governance today, as well as understand the interconnected nature of these critical topics.
