Contemporary industry challenges

This unit offers you the opportunity to engage directly with the communications industry and conduct applied research focused on selected contemporary issues and concerns. You will work on ‘real-world’ problems identified and developed in consultation with industry partners, and use knowledge and skills developed throughout your degree to interrogate these issues and recommend solutions. You will be guided in undertaking your individual communication projects with the opportunity to interact and showcase your work to key industry partners. You are encouraged to consider your assessment tasks not only as a formal academic requirement, but also as contributing to your professional development where you can demonstrate effective industry-focused applied research, communication and other professional skills.
