Overview

In this unit, you will gain experience in undertaking policy development activities that closely reflect the work undertaken in professional roles within and around government. This unit focuses on integrating citizen voice and lived experience into social policy design, drawing on approaches from participatory governance, deliberative democracy, design thinking, and qualitative policy analysis.

    Identify the skills and strategies routinely deployed by policy entrepreneurs and critically reflect on your current capabilities and areas where you could most effectively build your capabilities going forward.
