Overview
In this unit you will take a deep-dive into climate governance through a field trip and stakeholder workshop. You will meet a range of stakeholders to develop a nuanced understanding of multi-level governance and how decision-makers negotiate diverse interests. In particular you will explore the tensions and challenges of transitioning to renewable energy and how to support resilient communities. This unit is ideal for students looking to understand how to integrate climate mitigation with broader strategic priorities. It will support you to understand how to successfully engage diverse stakeholders to achieve cooperation at multiple scales, through an experiential approach to learning.
