Synopsis

In this unit you will explore India’s unique political, social, and economic landscape while studying at a leading Indian private university. During your two-week intensive study tour, you will develop knowledge and insight of policy processes in India and the challenges that confront India’s policymakers as they seek to address the challenges confronting the Indian state. The ways in which the contemporary Indian state approaches and responds to the critical and urgent issues it faces will be explored and analysed, along with the responses of Indian citizens and communities to policy success and failure.
