Overview
This unit uses a range of theories and analytical frameworks to provide you with the tools to evaluate the causes and consequences of political violence in its various forms. The unit covers topics related to civil war, conflict dynamics, violent practices, as well as counterinsurgency and peacebuilding. The unit investigates political violence from the perspective of both state and non-state actors through the use of in-depth case studies from around the globe.
