Overview
This capstone unit enables you to build knowledge of diverse global communications, media and cultural industries through a study tour experience of key organisations in an overseas destination. You will draw on background knowledge and skills in analysis developed in your core masters’ study, gaining the opportunity to test them against real world examples. The unit will have a strong element of experiential learning, through seeing the insides of communications, media and cultural organisations and having direct contact with those who work in them. At the same time, it will encourage critical scholarly thinking and reflection.
