Synopsis
Elective unit of the Master in Interpreting and Translation Studies (MITS). It addresses 21st century methodologies for research in literary translation studies, concentrating on debates around migration, identity and cultural translation. There is a focus on the research field of creative translation practice and developing research literacy within this area. Topics covered under literary translation will also include modes of discourse, medium and genre.
