Overview
This unit explores the theory and application of sustainable tourism practice in diverse national contexts. Key areas of focus comprise the impacts of tourism on the economic, social and environmental well-being of communities and the design and implementation of effective tourism planning to achieve those results. You will engage with living examples of sustainable tourism practice through an Australian-based overnight field school.
