Overview

The unit is undertaken in the final year of the Master of Communications and Media Studies and the Master of Strategic Communications Management. It challenges you to use knowledge and skills developed throughout your degree to address a 'real world' problem for a client organisation. You will work in groups on a research report for an industry client, responding to a brief developed with the client. Student groups will self-manage with industry project management software, and will address their teamwork progress week-to-week using agile process frameworks. You are encouraged to consider the report or plan not only as a formal requirement for the degree, but also as contributing to a portfolio of professional development where you can demonstrate effective project management, research, communication, leadership, teamwork and other professional skills.
