You must be enrolled in the Bachelor of Architectural Design (F2001), or the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Bachelor of Architectural Design (E3009), or the Master of Architecture (F6001).
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Bachelor of Architectural Design double degree students should contact their managing Faculty to enrol in this unit.
Overview
This unit focuses on co-research, collaborative writing and editing when communicating and sharing architectural ideas for a broader audience. The core structure for this unit will explore architectural publishing practices, and the history of the transmission of architectural ideas through a variety of modes and media. It is the second of two undergraduate architectural history and theory core units that include a range of secondary examples and content delivered in parallel and organised according to key themes. Working between themed material and core content will equip you with skills and approaches to define and develop a series of co-authored outcomes exploring social issues related to architecture.
