Overview
From 2025, this unit will be titled Ethics in practice, with a revised overview and Unit Learning Outcomes.
This unit operates in conjunction with the final architecture project studio and is a capstone that builds on the range of architectural design research undertaken in preceding architecture Studios and Studies units, and the rigor, inquiry and technical foundations of the preceding History/Theory units and Performance units. In direct dialogue with studio design developments, you will engage with diverse methodologies and approaches informing the production of architecture and advance the materialisation of your architectural ideas through the application of evidence based knowledge. Through the incremental and iterative preparation of a detailed Project Dossier the unit positions architectural investigations within professional, social, cultural, intellectual, environmental, technical, regulatory, and construction contexts.
