Synopsis
In this unit, you will delve into the crucial role corporations play in addressing some of the world's most pressing challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, and economic inequality. You will examine the complex relationship between corporations and sustainability exploring multiple perspectives, global trends and guiding principles for making a business case for corporate sustainability. Furthermore, you will develop the critical analytical skills and reflective capabilities necessary to assess contemporary business practices related to corporate sustainability. The teaching and learning approach is focussed on interactive activities, including in-class debates, guest seminars and case studies that explore corporate engagement with global sustainable development goals.
