Global policy challenge
ATI5236
Synopsis
As sustainable development issues become more interconnected in a globalised world, it is imperative that those in government, business and civil society are equipped with the tools to address policy problems that connect local, national and international decision-makers. In this unit you will utilise the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals to connect to pressing contemporary sustainable development issues. You will then address these issues in teams to develop creative and effective solutions. By honing in on a specific global policy issue and context, you have the opportunity to develop specialised knowledge of an SDG area and the relevant policy responses and instruments. In developing a strategic response, you will apply critical and theoretical analysis, skills and knowledge relevant to a global policy context.
