Synopsis

Global problems, as the saying goes, require global solutions. In this unit you will explore and become familiar with the approaches and methods of Global Studies, particularly interdisciplinary, collaborative and intercultural methods for seeking solutions to global challenges and advocating for social change. You will discover the origins and contemporary development of major global challenges such as inequality and climate change, and investigate the differential effects of these global challenges in different parts of the world.
