Overview

The unit consolidates and extends listening, speaking, reading and writing skills at level A1/A2 of the European language framework.

It also provides a deeper knowledge of contemporary Italy, through a focus on key economic and cultural sectors, such as cinema and TV, music, food, fashion and design, tourism, and football.

Activities are often designed so that there is not one clear answer, but students need to work together to examine, analyse and make decisions to resolve the situation.
