Performance in context 2
ATS1288
Synopsis
Performance in Context II is the companion unit to Performance in Context I, both of which function as foundational units in the Theatre major and minor. Performance in Context II will extend your understanding of concepts, theories and practices in the discipline. Whereas as Performance in Context I exposes you to traditions and conventions of mainstream theatre, Performance in Context II will explore challenges to convention, such as avant-garde theatre, feminist performance art, and site-specific performance. You will create your own devised work as part of the assessment requirements.
