Overview
During their second year PPE students will have the opportunity to embark on an exclusive study tour. This study tour will trace the contours of the shifting economic and political relations of the twenty first century in the Asia- Pacific region and Europe. PPE students will meet with and learn from academics and practitioners in the fields of politics, philosophy and economics in the private and public sectors, including think tanks and non-governmental organisations, in countries such as China, India, Indonesia and Italy. In so doing, students will analyse the consequences of the changes power dynamics in Australia’s geo-political region. By the end of this study abroad unit, PPE students will have a comprehension of the social and economic forces shaping the coming century and the diverse ideas emerging to interpret this change.

Activities are often designed so that there is not one clear answer, but students need to work together to examine, analyse and make decisions to resolve the situation.
