Synopsis
In this unit you will build your capacity for lifelong career management through self-awareness, opportunity awareness, and employability skills. Drawing on insights from career development experts, theory and your own research, you'll develop practical strategies for navigating common career challenges — from identifying opportunities and connecting with employers, to setting goals, establishing career resilience strategies, and managing uncertainty. You will develop essential communication and media skills relevant to all professional fields, which will help you with networking, writing and reviewing job applications, pitching prospective employers, responding to selection criteria and behavioural interviews (video and in-person), and achieving success in job interviews
