Prohibitions: ATS2892

Prerequisite: Successful completion of any one of the following units: ATS1959, ATS1940, ATS3946, ATS2043, ATS2044, ATS3243, ATS3655, ATS2885, ATS3045, ATS3011, ATS3012, ATS3013, ATS3014, or equivalent language proficiency by permission.

Overview

In this unit you will further your bilingual communication skills by applying them across a broader range of contexts. You will focus on practical applications in areas such as finance and trade, banking and insurance, legal matters, and interview techniques. You will develop advanced interpreting skills relevant to these specialized fields, further refining your ability to handle complex communication tasks. You will be prepared for advanced translation and interpreting studies with confidence, including participation in NAATI accredited courses and exploring pathways to postgraduate studies and professional development opportunities.
