This unit focuses upon the acquisition and application of qualitative/ethnographic research methods in professional life. We examine the use of qualitative research in applied settings such as health, international development, cultural heritage, peace and reconciliation; design, consultancy and corporate settings as means of engaging communities, evaluating and designing interventions.
