Overview

How do organisations compete, collaborate, and solve problems across borders? What does it take to bring rigorous, integrated business thinking to bear on real challenges facing globally operating organisations?

In this project-based unit, you will work as part of a consulting team on a live project challenge set by a real client. The client will either be a globally operating organisation or present a challenge with significant international dimensions. The specific challenge will vary, reflecting the genuine complexity and unpredictability of global business practice.

You will draw on the full breadth of your business education, integrating theory and practice across strategy, analytics, finance, marketing, and operations and other business disciplines. You will think and work as real consulting teams, learning to navigate ambiguity, synthesise diverse perspectives, and apply contemporary digital tools to frame and solve complex problems.

By the end of this unit, you will have experienced what it means to work collaboratively under real-world conditions, managing a client relationship, presenting evidence-based recommendations with confidence, and reflecting critically on your own contribution to shared team outcomes.
