Overview

This unit is designed to help you better understand the lending functions of banks, the types of lending products available to individuals and corporate borrowers, the credit origination process, qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate the creditworthiness of prospective borrowers, loan management and the principles of responsible banking. This unit will prepare you to become a credit analyst at banks or other lending institutions.

    apply critical thinking, problem solving and presentation skills to individual and/or group activities dealing with lending decisions and demonstrate in an individual summative assessment task the acquisition of a comprehensive understanding of the topics covered by BFW3841.
