Synopsis
This unit constitutes the work preparation component to complete the Master of Biomedical and Health Science. It prepares you with the skill set for work and industry preparedness and provides you with a professional internship experience undertaken over two months.
You will gain skills in developing an employment/work portfolio, including writing a CV and a cover letter, and addressing key selection criteria, for model jobs in the biomedical sciences. You will also learn the skills to develop effective online portfolios to market yourself professionally.
You will also develop industry awareness for the biomedical and biotechnology industries.
In the internship, you will acquire experience by working in a professional environment in the biomedical and biotechnology industries. The internship will include considerations of ethical issues in the workplace and the development of a workplace written report.
