Synopsis
In this unit, you will explore recent advances in genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics and systems biology. You will learn about the latest sequencing technologies underlying these fields of research and obtain an understanding of computational methodologies used to explore these massive datasets.
You will gain hands-on experience in extracting, mining and integrating publicly available datasets relevant to biomedical research. This unit will also provide training in statistical methods for biotechnology scientists.
