Synopsis

This unit provides the opportunity for Master of Biotechnology students to undertake laboratory work with a research group in a biotechnology/biotechnology related field. You will be allocated to research groups by the unit coordinator, where you will learn essential laboratory skills by performing experiments under the supervision of experienced researchers. You will also be required to attend a series of workshops on research methodologies, experimental design, ethics application, statistical analyses, literature review and scientific communication.
