Enrolment rules

Corequisites: Master of Biotechnology students only (M6030)

Pre-requisites: BRM5011, BRM5014, GEN5010, BRM5012, BRM5015, BRM5013, BMS5007 and one of the following units: BEX5114, BEX5120, BEX5411 or BEX5413.

In order to be eligible for the work-integrated learning program, you need to have an average of at least 70% in your core biotechnology studies (Part A) and a successful industry placement application.

Overview

This unit aims to enable students to develop professional experience in industry-focused work environments.

This unit is specifically designed to help students build transferable work skills, develop professional goals and expand their networking capacity.

Students are placed with an industry partner for a six-month industry-based learning project, and complete university-assigned assessment tasks.
