Overview
The unit will explore current corporate governance issues in Malaysia and selected Asian developing countries and will involve a comparative study of how developed jurisdictions (Australia, UK, US and Singapore) have resolved these issues. The unit includes a study of all aspects of an organization that have an impact on and are impacted by corporate governance. This includes but are not limited to leadership, strategy, board of directors, regulators, markets and auditors. The unit will highlight issues of ethics, sustainability and climate governance, and discuss resolutions to improve corporate governance in Malaysia.
