Overview

This unit will be in conjunction with CHE4181 for a two-semester long research project. Students need to finish both units in a full year length. The project synopsis includes development and conduct of specific research or other open-ended projects which may involve literature search, experimental design, equipment design, equipment commissioning, experimentation, troubleshooting, problem-solving, data gathering, analysis and interpretation of data, and oral and written reporting.

When you finish this unit, you should be able to:

    Use an appropriate combination of knowledge, research, statistical and analytical methods, and creativity to conceive, design and validate solutions to complex engineering problems.
