Workload and teaching
- Laboratories72 hours
- Teaching approachResearch activities
- Six hours per week of laboratory work plus additional private study time
This unit is a laboratory based and has flexible contact hours. In general it is expected that the student will commit around 7 hours a week (~1 day) to research in the laboratory. How this time is committed can be discussed and developed with the supervisor. For example, some students find one solid day is best for their project, while others visit the lab on two half days.
