Synopsis
This unit will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to describe and apply innovative technologies and tools in the planning, construction and operation of infrastructure projects. You will learn the state-of-the-practice and latest research advancement in a range of technologies, including Building Information Modelling (BIM), laser scanning, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), and Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR). At the end of this unit, you will be able to identify legitimate innovation and recognise it for the value it offers to the infrastructure sector.
