Synopsis

This unit develops your hands-on making skills and knowledge for the effective and intelligent use of materials and processes. It provides you with a chance to engage in different thematic investigations around traditional, contemporary, emerging and/or experimental materials and their related processes.

You will be able to develop a unique perspective to your creative practice through experimental and cross-disciplinary approaches, alongside a mix of skill-based instructions and project-based learning.

Project outcomes will take the form of both hand-made and machine-assisted artefacts of varying scales and applications.
