Synopsis
Working in close supervision with an expert in the field, you will refine your analytical and methodological skills to understand, explore and address some of the key problems and challenges in Earth Science and propose an innovative solution based on your own research. After completing an extensive literature review you will develop a plan for and then complete an advanced research project through the collection, interpretation and reporting on Earth Science data. Your original research results will be presented orally, in a seminar setting, and as a research thesis suitable for publication in a scientific journal.
