You will study two selected topics in atmospheric science or closely related fields. These topics underpin much of modern atmospheric science. Through your study of these topics, you will develop an advanced understanding of the discipline and acquire the skills to operate professionally in the area. The selected topics come from the list:

- General circulation of the atmosphere
- Remote sensing
- Climate modelling and analysis
- Statistics for climate science
- Atmospheric modelling
- Dynamical meteorology
- Ocean circulation and dynamics
- Other topics as available
Note that not all topics will be available every semester, and you can only choose any given topic once toward any unit in your degree.
